Headboard DIY • Houston Texas Photography

I’m probably on Pinterest more than I am Facebook if that shows the level of my obsession. We/The Husband started off making a coffee table out of pallets. I had a ton of different ones pinned but got the inspiration from HERE and ended up going with a white wash look.

A week ago we had given out queen sized bed to our daughter, repainted white of course and upgraded to a king size. I hate the look of footboards and I had pinned This Simple Tutorial a while back. We bought 5 1×6 boards, banged them up a bit, then stained and waxed them.

I like mixing rustic with clean patterns and bright colors so I was really happy with how they came out.
